What kind of wax do you use?

We use 100% soy wax that is ethically sourced and environmentally friendly!  Most mass-produced candles you see online and in stores are created using paraffin wax - super not-great for you or the Earth. 

What's this white stuff on my wax melt?

That "white stuff" is called frosting and it's your wax's way of proving how smart it is!  Soy wax, like other vegetable-derived waxes, is polymorphic - this means that it will try to return to its natural state when mixed with oils as well as after exposure to temperature fluctuations. The frosted areas you see are little crystals and are part of a totally normal and natural phenomenon.  This is actually a good indicator that a company is truly using 100% soy wax, as it is pretty much a sure thing with this type of wax.

Why does it look like my candle is pulling away from the glass?

What you observe is a natural phenomenon that occurs with any fluctuation of temperature - this includes during the pouring process, while simply sitting and curing, and any climate changes during the journey to your home. Don't forget that soy wax is smart! It will attempt to return to its original state once it cools and the "pulling away" you notice is part of that. It is purely cosmetic and will not negatively affect the burn of your candle.

Soy wax is better than other waxes in many ways, but its one flaw is that it does not have super-hero adhesion properties. Many candlemakers will use additives or various wax blends to increase a candle's adhesion to its container - that isn't our style. We believe in providing a pure and healthy product, which means no additives.

What's your Return Policy?

We strongly believe you will love our melts as much as we do - but, if for any reason you are dissatisfied with your fragrance or product, please let us know!

We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. We request you take a photo of any damages to your package upon receipt so that we can file a report with the carrier. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@fervorcandleco.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
